SCENARIO: Changing Wi-Fi Channels

Steps to Test: Change the channel manually and monitor usage

A Wi-Fi channel is like a specific lane or frequency range that your wireless network uses to send and receive data.

In India, allowed channels are:

  • 2.4 GHz band: Channels 1–13

  • 5 GHz band: Channels 36–48 and 149–165





Step 1:
Create the SSID and manually configure the channels.
Go to Profiles > Radio > Create Radio.





Step 2:
Connect a device to the created SSID.




Step 3:
Check which channel the connected device is using.
Go to Clients > Actions > View.
