As promised, our first AP setup is very easy and quick, though there are few challenges you may face during

the Firs time AP setup, and the case scenarios already mentioned in  Troubleshoot your first AP setup during the registration document.

So what is manual debugging?

Well, Ray APs having an excellent feature of self broadcasting to debug and diagnose the exact issue with your AP registration.

This can be the last thing you can try to spot the missing necessary pre-requisite parameter to enable the service.

1) While your AP has not been setup or not getting activated, your AP blue LED light must be slowly blinking,

( refer this document to understand different phases to check LED blinking states Troubleshoot with LED blinking )

When your AP blue LED light is blinking slowly ( for Vega model APs) AP is broadcasting its SSID which will be                     included the MAC address of the AP without colons ( for e.g WiFiabacdf00a0b0 ) check the below snapshot for the                 reference.

2) select the AP broadcast SSID and insert the wifi key as MAC address without a colon ( for WiFiabacdf00a0b0

wifi passkey will be "abacdf00a0b0" .

3) Once you are connected with the AP through default WiFI broadcast SSID, you can browse the AP web console using the     default AP IP for all the Ray APs is 192.168.33.33, for web console page reference check the below snapshots.

In the above snapshots, you can see all the parameters which are green indicates pre-requisites have been fulfilled to activate the Ray service and the parameter which is not fulfilled or it's missing indicated with "red cross", if your internet is running fine and proper then all the parameters should be showing green and up, the last "Certificate Present" is coming "Red" then raise your issue with Ray support via [email protected]
