Policies & Groups are key Enterprise features of Ray.
Groups are a logical combination of devices.
e.g. Finance team, marketing team etc.
e.g. Adults, teens etc.
e.g. Day shift, Night shift etc.
You need to create Policy before creating the Group.

To create a Group, Follow the Steps below
Go to Profiles -> Available Profiles -> Group
Click Create Group to create a New Group.
Input the below details
A. Profile Name. Name of the Group. Finance Team
B. Description. A description of the Group. e.g Employees Group or Finance Team group from India Office.
C. Adding MAC Address (Optional)
If you know the devices that you want to add in the Group, you can click + and add the devices via MAC Address.
D. Content Policy
Click Enable Content Policy if required.
Select the Content Policy you want to apply.
E. Time Policy
Click Enable Time Policy if required.
Select the Time Policy you want to apply.
F. Speed Policy
Click Enable Speed Policy if required.
Select Quota 0 to 100% with the desired Speed Policy from the drop down.
If the FUP is required to be enabled, click on + (Plus) and add additional tier.
Select Quota 100% to Unlimited with the desired Speed Policy from the drop down.
G. Quota Policy
Click Enable Quota Policy if required.
Select the Quota Policy you want to apply.
Click Enable Notifications if you need notifications to be applied when the Quota reaches a certain level.
H. Extra Information
Select Plan Type from Free/Paid/Temporary Internet depending on the Type of Plan.
Press Submit.
Attach the Group by Clicking
Your Group is created.
Adding Devices to Group
You can add devices to group via Devices screen also.
Select the device you want to add to the group.
Go To Actions -> Add To Group
Select the group in which you want to add the device.
