Ray is powered by RayOS and the cloud controller should be used for all settings related to your Ray.
However, there are cases where you need to access the local GUI of the AP to do basic settings.
Below are the cases we have identified.
1. The AP doesn't have internet and you need to check the status.
2. The AP is receiving IP via VLAN/PPPoE/Static IP.
There are 2 methods to do this.
Method 1. Before Setting up the AP.
Step 1. In case your Ray AP is not receiving the IP via DHCP, it should be broadcasting the SSID RayXXXXXXXXXXXX where XXXXXXXXXXXX is your MAC Address of the AP and also the password of the SSID. Please login in the RayXXXXXXXXXXXX SSID.
Step 2. Go to your browser and type http://192.168.33.33/
Step 3. Change the settings and press Submit.
In case your Ray already has an internet connection, the Ray Console shall be closed and not SSID RayXXXXXXXXXXXX will not be visible.
In this case, you need to activate the Ray AP Console via the cloud.
Method 2. Via Cloud.
In this case, your AP is connected via DHCP and ONLINE on the cloud controller.
Step 1. Login to Cloud Controller using your username & password on https://cloud.ray.life/
Step 2. Click on Access Points
Step 3. Select the Access Point in which you want to set the PPPoE/Static IP/VLAN. Go To column Actions. Click on overflow Menu and select "AP Profiles".
Step 4. Click Access Point Console
Step 4. The RayXXXXXXXXXXXX console shall be visible.
Step 5. Go to your browser and type http://192.168.33.33/
Step 6. When your requirement is complete, you need to follow the same steps and close the Ray Console.
